List of Classic Decks in the Challenge
Classic Control
The deck that won the battle between Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. This is a classic Control Deck where you have to defend you can build up a great push with the Lava Hound, Golem and P.E.K.K.A..
Average Elixir: 3.9
Classic Cycle
This deck revolves around cycling units quickly to do chip damage through frequent pushes. The high-DPS Inferno Dragon will be used to clear big threats while your opponent can’t keep up with your cycle!
Average Elixir: 2.8
Classic Logbait
The Classic Logbait deck is a high tempo deck that is used to bait out your opponent’s spells. The Goblin Barrel and Goblin Gang can be used with the Log for a quick, cheap push. The Goblin Barrel can also be used as a defensive card to defend against ground troops. This deck is extremely versatile and adaptable.
Average Elixir: 3.3
GOLEM BEATDOWN
The Golem Deck is a classic deck that has stood the test of time. It’s not just one of the best decks in Clash Royale – it’s one of the best decks ever.
This deck revolves around using the strong defensive qualities of your Golem card to tank for your supporting troops. Pairing it up with Night Witch and Mega Minion gives this deck a lot of punch.
Average Elixir: 4.3
PEKKA’S PLAYHOUSE
The PEKKA’s Playhouse Deck is an all-out aggressive deck that aims to overwhelm opponents with fast-attacking troops. The key to success here is learning when to go all-in, and when not to. The three Musketeer cards play a major role here, but every card will be useful at some point in the game!
The Pekka-Loon combo is one of the best classic push strategies, and it just got even stronger thanks to Mega Minion. Use your support cards (Minions/Minion Horde/Wizard) to take out any threats that might defend against your Pekka-Loon push nicely!
Average Elixir: 3.9
LaLoon
LaLoon is a combination of Lava Hound and Balloon. The strategy is simple, but the execution can be tricky. Deploy your Lava Hound in the back of your king tower while the Balloon is deployed near the river. When the Lava Hound is close to the bridge, play your balloon with either minions or a baby dragon, depending on what cards you have.
You want to use your support cards to protect your balloon from ground troops, and from ranged attacks such as witches, musketeers, or wizards.
Lavaloon is not only powerful but fun to play with. It’s got a lot of synergy with other deck types, such as artifacts (the Evil Twin card for example) or enchantments (Vampiric Tutor for example). The power level is very high, but it’s also balanced. It doesn’t dominate its matchups. There are ways to beat it, but it’s not impossible to do so.
Average Elixir: 4.1
Mega Goblins
Mega Goblins is a workhorse aggro deck that wins quickly. You can often get in two-to-four damage in one or two turns before your opponent even has an opportunity to draw their cards. You can pull off some insane plays like winning before your opponent has even drawn their cards!
There isn’t much you can do against this deck when you don’t have an answer — either you’re dead or they just win. Mega Goblins are giant goblins that have a lot of health and deal a lot of damage for their cost.
They are good for taking out buildings or clumping up troops. They are also very good for taking out towers because they do not get distracted by other buildings or troops. You should pair them with support cards such as the wizard, minions, or archers when deploying them on offense.
Average Elixir: 4.1
Pigs on Parade
Pigs on Parade is the combo deck of the Classic Decks Challenge! This deck abuses both mana screw and mana flood to create a consistent engine that draws cards and wins games! It’s powerful, consistent, and fast! It’s also incredibly.
The Pigs on Parade deck is designed to counter any deck that uses Hog Rider as its main win condition. It consists of Mega Minion, Cannon Cart and several spells such as Arrows and Poison (or Fireball).
It also includes defensive buildings like Tesla and Inferno Tower to defend against Hog Riders and Elite Barbarians.
Average Elixir: 3.9
ROYALE GIANT FISHER
The Royal Giant is a new card in Clash Royale. Its high damage and long-range can quickly put an end to your opponent’s tower. His weakness is swarm troops. However, the Elite Barbarians are great at taking out swarms, so place them behind a group of Barbarians to protect them from spells.
The High Priestess has decent HP and range – she can handle most swarms. Sparky is a heavy hitter that can also destroy buildings and kill tanks while being protected by your army. You will have to get used to her very slow rate of fire!
The Royale Giant Fisher is a popular beatdown deck that uses the powerful Giant as the backbone of its offense. With the Elixir Collector, Fireball and Zap all in this deck, you can easily defend against any counter push while supporting your Giant.
The Princess and Fire Spirits are great for taking out swarms, while the Ice Spirit and Skeletons are perfect for protecting your Giant. Once the tower is down, you can use the Minion Horde to finish off your opponent!
Average Elixir: 3.1
SPARK THE GOBLIN
Sparky’s damage increases with each shot, so it’s best to wait until she has full charge before firing. She can take out Giants quickly, but her slow attack speed means she needs support from other troops to protect her from counterattacks. If you are facing Sparky try to lure her away from your Giant with swarm troops like Skeletons or Goblins.
Average Elixir: 4.4
